Erica Rothman and Nightlight Productions were chosen by Health Care for All NC to produce a video that would motivate advocates, develop business support for health care reform, and show members of the General Assembly the problems North Carolina workers faced getting access to health care. In addition to producing an excellent video, Erica was an excellent coach on the process of producing a video. She guided us on getting internal participation, developing the story and theme, and working within time and financial budgets. Erica was also able to use her network to bring in other people whose skills were most appropriate to meeting our needs. The process was a successful partnership on story choices, script development, shoot selections, editing and production.
